Practicing Stand Up Paddling in river waters offers the fascinating possibility of admiring wild places while being carried by the flow of the water, obtaining a much more adrenaline-filled and satisfying experience. For this reason, the SUP JBAY.ZONE RIVER Y1 has been designed and built to have fun along the course of a river both in a calm way to enjoy the view while being carried by the flow of the water, and facing moderate currents for even greater fun. Fun and relaxing, practicing Paddleboarding aboard a SUP RIVER Y1 is also an excellent workout to keep fit while having fun.

For the SUP JBAY.ZONE RIVER Y1, a material is used consisting of two overlapping layers of high-resistance Laminated PVC, heat-sealed together, using 2LF Fusion technology, which allows for an inflatable board with performance comparable to that of a rigid SUP, with excellent weight support. The heat-sealing process, without the use of glue between the two layers of material, ensures a reduction in the total weight of the board of up to 25% less than a standard Double-Layer Stand up Paddle, significantly increasing its resistance, rigidity and durability over time. Heat-sealing is also more environmentally sustainable, eliminating chemical residues and the use of solvents that would normally be used with glue.

Drop-Stitch technology was used for the internal structure which, thanks to thousands of fabric filaments welded to the ends of the laminated PVC, allows the RIVER Y1 Stand Up Paddle, once the ideal pressure of 18PSI has been reached, to become rigid and resistant, supporting the rider's weight perfectly.

The Rail is reinforced with an extra layer of laminated PVC for greater safety and resistance to any impacts.

An EVA Foam cover on the central part of the Deck of the SUP RIVER Y1 provides a more stable support to the rider in different conditions of use. The diamond texture of the pad guarantees high grip even in the presence of water. Near the SUP tail there is a raised Kickpad, useful for better control of the SUP and for making quick pivots or turns.

The RIVER Y1 board comes with 5 fins, 4 of which are fixed and a removable central Slide Fin. The valve used is a High Pressure one with a bayonet connection, to connect the Bravo® double action Pump supplied, optimising air insufflation operations and avoiding the risk of unexpected pressure losses.

In order to use different types of accessories including the essential safety leash, a series of D-Rings are located on the deck and tail of the SUP RIVER Y1. It is possible to use the board as a kayak using the special semi-rigid seat sold separately.
