Mini-basketball

Minibasketball, known in English as mini-basketball, is a game-sport reserved for children aged 5 to 11, and is a means of physical, sports and social education. Compared to basketball, the basketball fundamentals are taught in the form of a game, the rules are presented progressively and the regulation is learned by playing. Minibasketball in Italy is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation, which has divided the activity into different categories, based on the age of the mini-athletes.
