Chlorine for Pools

Chlorine is the fundamental product for the care of swimming pool water.

When starting up the pool for the first time, or when reopening it after months of disuse, it is necessary to carry out a shock treatment, called hyperchlorination.

For this shock treatment it is necessary to use granular chlorine or calcium hypochlorite products which have the same function but work in different ways.

In fact, hypochlorite, unlike traditional chlorine, works without isocyanurates, which are the harmful part of the treatment.

Subsequently, a weekly check and treatment will be necessary to verify and correct the chlorine or hypochlorite values ​​(ideal range: 0.6/1.5 points).

Maintenance can be performed with both granular and tablet products, while shock treatments must always be performed with granular products.
