The Ekstrem ergonomic armchair offers various seating options; its perforated structure allows you to sit forward with your feet on the floor, but you can also sit sideways with your legs resting on the armrests or you can lie down. A model of chair or armchair that invites you to move and find the most comfortable position.

Iconic shape, ergonomic intent
As a child, Ekstrøm was often told to sit still, avoid tilting his chair, and sit properly. Instead of accepting these limitations, he imagined a chair that would accommodate movement and provide the support needed for a dynamic sitting experience. Driven by this idea, Ekstrøm designed Ekstrem™, a chair that breaks convention, allowing you to move and shift freely, while still having the support you need. Today, Ekstrem™ is known around the world, renowned for its striking, sculptural appearance, but also for its impact on the way we think about comfort, support and movement.
With its variable depths, spaces and rounded edges, Ekstrem™ allows you to change positions freely and stretch out, without ever losing the correct support.
It supports you in unexpected ways
Its unusual geometry allows you to sit forward, with your feet on the floor, sideways with your legs resting on the armrests, or backwards, with your torso against the back of the chair. A seating experience that can only be described as out of the ordinary.
