Calcium hypochlorite is a highly concentrated source of chlorine used in water treatment. The oxygenating effect of the released chlorine has a high bactericidal effect against all types of microorganisms, making it suitable for the following applications:
- Chlorination of drinking water
- Pool water treatment
- Disinfectant agent in healthcare applications
- Floor cleaning and disinfection
DOSAGE: Maintain the chlorine level between 1.3 and 1.5 ppm (1.85 to 2.15 g/cubic meter).

Granular calcium hypochlorite can be used in place of granular chlorine in superchlorination/shock treatments.
The function is the same, but the effect is different. Hypochlorite does not release isocyanurates into the pool and never saturates the water.
