25 kg drum of granular chlorine.
Chemical product certified and registered with the Ministry of Health.
Granular chlorine 56/63%
Specific product for disinfecting public or private swimming pools.
Granular chlorine is the main chemical used for water treatment. It is used for shock treatments and also for routine maintenance.
This, along with balancing the pH value, is the most important treatment for a swimming pool. Adequate, frequent, and consistent chlorination is essential for safe water disinfection. A correct pH value (7.2-7.4) and a suitable free chlorine level (0.6-1.0 ppm) will guarantee pure, healthy, and crystal-clear water.
Depending on the pH value and the organic matter present in the water, the added chlorine will tend to form combined chlorine, the real cause of both the "chlorine smell" and the burning sensation in the eyes and mucous membranes. This unpleasant problem occurs primarily when the chlorine dosage is insufficient; in fact, to eliminate it, a shock dose of chlorine is most often necessary.
Proper chlorination requires effective and specific products, even if they have different physical characteristics. The choice of both product and chlorination system can be based on both the type of pool and the filtration system.
GRANULAR CHLORINE 56/63%
Applications: Dicloro 63 is a rapidly soluble stabilized chlorine used for disinfecting swimming pool water. This product is highly stable against photolysis and evaporation, developing an acidic chlorine solution, thus reducing the need for acid corrector. Chlorine, in addition to disinfecting, also acts as an oxidizer, thus eliminating non-filterable organic substances.
Use and doses : Chlorine 63 can be used manually or mechanically, by means of a dosing pump connected to a small tank containing the chlorine and water solution.
Dosage : Maintain the chlorine level between 1.3 and 1.5 ppm (2 to 2.4 g/cubic meter of 56/63% sodium dichloroisocyanurate).
Shock treatment (break point): from 5 to 10 ppm depending on the
Concentration of combined chlorine (from 8.4 to 16.5 g/cubic meter)
Consumption : Consumption can vary from 1 to 3 ppm depending on the temperature, the nature of the make-up water and the frequency of use of the system.
Composition : Chlorine
Warnings and information notes: Store in a dry, ventilated place. Keep containers sealed and away from other chemicals. Handle with appropriate eye and respiratory protection.
