The principle of the non-motorized Sprintbok is based on the fact that the foot strikes the band backwards. The curved tread with vertical and horizontal contours promotes descent and backward traction, perfect for a more natural pace.
When the foot is worn, body weight helps push the blade band along the curve and backward. The contact point of the foot is always slightly in front of the center of gravity. High-quality blades with ball bearings reduce horizontal friction on the feet. Less friction at the beginning of the advocate leads to greater muscle training.
