BUT HOW MUCH DOES VOYAGER CONSUME?
The survey was conducted at different speeds (1, 4, 8, and 12 km/h) and different inclines (maximum and medium at 4 km/h), under a constant load of an 80 kg runner who moved with an upright torso, without leaning on the side handrails and facilitating walking/running. The measured data showed that walking at maximum incline reduced energy consumption by more than 50%, and at medium incline by 30%.
