Jbay.Zone Touring Series Comet TJ Sup - Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board (Available April 2022)

For the SUP JBAY.ZONE COMET TJ, a material made up of two overlapping layers of high-resistance Laminated PVC is used, heat-sealed together, using 2LF Fusion technology, which allows for an inflatable board with performance comparable to that of a rigid SUP, with excellent weight support. The heat-sealing process, without the use of glue between the two layers of material, ensures a reduction in the total weight of the board of up to 25% less than a standard Double-Layer Stand up Paddle, significantly increasing its resistance, rigidity and durability over time. Heat-sealing is also more environmentally sustainable, eliminating chemical residues and the use of solvents that would normally be used with glue.

Drop-Stitch technology has been used for the internal structure, which, thanks to thousands of fabric filaments welded to the ends of the Laminated PVC, allows the COMET TJ Stand Up Paddle, once the ideal pressure of 18PSI has been reached, to become rigid and resistant, supporting the rider's weight perfectly. The Rail is reinforced by an extra layer of laminated PVC for greater safety and resistance to any impacts.

An EVA Foam cover on the central part of the COMET TJ SUP Deck provides a more stable support to the rider in different conditions of use. The Pad rises near the tail of the board creating a Kickpad, useful for better control of the SUP to make pivots or quick turns.

The central fin is removable with a case equipped with a slide fitting (Slide fin). The valve installed on the SUP COMET TJ is a High Pressure valve with a bayonet fitting. This type of valve is ideal for connecting the Bravo® double action pump, supplied, in complete safety and optimising air insufflation operations, thus avoiding the risk of unexpected pressure losses. The valve can be tightened correctly, when necessary, using the valve tightener accessory supplied.

D-rings placed along the perimeter of the SUP COMET TJ deck are useful for connecting accessories such as the safety leash or the specific seat for transforming the stand up paddle into a kayak.

The reduced width makes the TJ SUP board faster and more streamlined than other Touring Stand up Paddles, excellent for following a straight line path.

Thanks to the 2LF Fusion Drop-Stitch technology used for the SUP JBAY.ZONE COMET TJ, the weight support of the SUP is 160 kg.
