Product Features:

National Geographic AZ 114/900 is a telescope with a reflecting optical system, which uses the property of reflecting the light of mirrors. These mirrors are curved, so as to converge the light to a point called focus.

In optimal atmospheric conditions, the 114 mm diameter primary mirror is able to clearly show some nebulae and galaxies, the fascinating rings of Saturn, the bands and variable shade areas of Jupiter, as well as objects in the solar system. Thanks to the accessories supplied, it is a very versatile and easy to use instrument thanks to the altazimuth mount with manual horizontal and vertical movements, which allows total freedom of action and does not require alignment on the celestial North Pole, an operation that requires a certain amount of experience.

Included are a 6×30 optical finder scope for easy location and centering of celestial objects, 3 eyepieces of 4mm, 9mm and 25mm, a 3x Barlow lens for even greater magnification, and an erect imager with a 1.5x magnification factor for terrestrial viewing. Like any reflecting telescope, the National Geographic 114/900 is free of chromatic aberration, so objects are displayed without spurious colors.
