The ideal pH value in water is 7.2 – 7.4. Values ​​other than 7.2 – 7.4 negatively affect the performance of chemical products, increase corrosion and limescale build-up, cause burning of the eyes and mucous membranes and limit the formation of active free chlorine.

The pH of the water should be checked every week to allow other chemicals to work properly and to avoid having pool water that is too acidic.

Dry granular acid, does not raise chlorides and does not present any risk in handling.

For medium alkaline waters: 200 to 300 g per 100 m3 of water to lower the pH by 0.1 units.
