Active oxygen, the most powerful natural disinfectant known. In nature it is created by combining oxygen in the air under the action of ultraviolet rays from sunlight or by the electrical discharge (corona effect) of lightning during thunderstorms. Ozone destroys bacteria, viruses, spores, cysts and fungi, oxidizes metal ions (iron, manganese, etc.), breaks down fats molecularly. Given its nature (it is nascent oxygen), unlike other products that are normally used in swimming pools it does not add anything to the water except one of the 2 components it is composed of!

There are some products that, thanks to a chemical process, are able to generate the same oxidizing effect that water spontaneously obtains in nature, eliminating bacteria and pollutants thanks to the disinfectant effect of oxygen.
This disinfection method is still a chemical treatment of water, but an alternative to chlorine or bromine-based products and therefore without toxicity and without producing side effects.

Active oxygen is an excellent oxidant (burns microorganisms and bacteria), an excellent disinfectant, but above all it is colorless and odorless.
It is a product that does not irritate the skin and mucous membranes.
It is available in liquid version, making it easier and quicker for the user because it does not need to be diluted before use.

CHARACTERISTICS

• Non-chlorinated product.
• Water treated with PXP oxy does not cause unpleasant odors or eye irritation, and does not dry out the skin or hair.
• With strong oxidation it eliminates existing microorganisms and organic substances.

DOSAGE

• Initial Treatment: 60 gr. of the active oxygen chemical product for each cubic meter of water. It is necessary to combine the active oxygen with the anti-algae chemical product.
• Maintenance Treatment: 30 gr. of active oxygen for each cubic meter of water once a week. It is necessary to combine the active oxygen with the anti-algae.

The initial dose should be repeated if the water becomes poorly transparent.
These doses are indicative and can be modified according to the characteristics of each pool, climate, etc.

METHOD OF USE: Directly spread the required dose of active oxygen evenly over the entire surface of the pool, late in the evening with no swimmers in the water. The products must not be mixed together but used in sequence.

Applications: Highly concentrated liquid sanitizer based on hydrogen peroxide for sanitizing swimming pool water. Being a non-chlorinated product, OXIPLUS 12% does not cause unpleasant odors, does not dry the skin or hair. Active oxygen, unlike chlorine, does not combine with organic nitrogen and does not cause the formation of chloroamines, which are the main causes of eye irritation. OXIPLUS 12% is a strongly oxidizing agent capable of eliminating organic matter and microorganisms present in water.
Use and doses: Initial dose: 60 - 90 g/m3 of water.
Maintenance: 30 - 45 gr/m3 of water.
Composition: Hydrogen peroxide 12%, stabilizers
