Chemical Liquid Chlorine
Certified chemical product.
Liquid chlorine is widely used in swimming pools with automatic dispensers and is convenient because it only needs to be poured, without any other special precautions.
It has a lower concentration than granular chlorine as it is already diluted.
This, in addition to balancing the pH value, is the most important treatment for a swimming pool. Adequate, frequent and constant chlorination is a fundamental condition for safe water disinfection. A correct pH value (7.2-7.4) and a correct free chlorine content (06-1.0 ppm) will guarantee you pure, healthy and crystalline water.
The chlorine introduced, depending on the pH value and the organic substances present in the water, will tend to form combined chlorine (chloramines), the real cause of both the "chlorine smell" and the burning sensation in the eyes and mucous membranes. This unpleasant problem occurs mainly when the chlorine dosage is insufficient; in fact, to eliminate it, a shock dosage of chlorine is most often necessary.
Correct chlorination must be addressed with valid and specific products, even if with different physical characteristics. The choice of both the product and the chlorination system can be made based on both the type of pool and the filtration system.
Stabilized liquid chlorine with algaecide, sanitizes and prevents the formation of algae in swimming pool water. Does not release cyanuric acid.
LIQUID CHLORINE
SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE 14/15% HIGH STABILITY
Applications: Concentrated liquid chlorine to be used for disinfecting swimming pool water. Product with high stability to photolysis and evaporation, in addition to disinfection it also has an oxidizing function, thus eliminating non-filterable organic substances.
Use and doses: CLOREX 14 can be used manually or mechanically, by means of a dosing pump connected to a product storage tank.
Dosage: Maintain the free chlorine level between 0.8 and 1 ppm (5.4 to 6.7 g/m3 of Clorex 14).
For shock treatments (break point), from 5 to 10 ppm of free chlorine depending on the concentration of combined chlorine (from 34 to 68 g/m3 of Clorex 14).
Consumption: Free chlorine consumption can vary from 1 to 3 ppm/day (from 6.7 to 20.1 g/m3 per day of Clorex 14) depending on the temperature, the nature of the make-up water and the frequency of use of the system.
Composition: Sodium hypochlorite concentration 14-15%.
In accordance with the provisions relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of chemical mixtures and detergents, Liquid Klor is registered with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) with preparation code AUT-18-4.
