DIATHERMY/TECARTHERAPY GLOBUS HEALING ENERGY
WHAT IS DIATHERMY?
Diathermy/Tecartherapy with capacitive and resistive energy transfer is an innovative therapy widely used in the physiotherapy and medical fields to treat trauma and musculoskeletal pathologies.
It is conducted through electrodes that directly transport energy where the therapeutic action is needed. This energy is generated by the movement of electrical charges and induces heat production, which recreates the natural repair and anti-inflammatory processes.
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HEAT
Unlike other methods (infrared, laser, ultrasound and electrotherapy) whose effects are limited to superficial layers of the body, Diathermy/Tecartherapy with Capacitive and Resistive energy transfer can produce a very effective action because it reaches the area to be treated in depth. In addition, Diathermy/Tecartherapy can be used selectively on the affected areas with two different modes of use: Capacitive and Resistive.
- The Capacitive method is suitable for treating tissues with low resistance to the passage of electricity (muscles, skin, connective tissues, circulatory and lymphatic systems).
- The Resistive method is particularly suitable for treating highly resistant tissues (bone tissue, cartilage, tendons, ligaments). It is also possible to perform a combined Capacitive/Resistive phase treatment to obtain a more effective therapeutic action.
MAIN FEATURES
- Treatment Atlas: Large library of programs divided by anatomical district and complete with images.
- Multifrequency: 5 different working frequencies (400khz – 470khz – 700khz – 1000khz – 1200khz) to differentiate the treatment depth.
- Automatic frequency scanning: The automatic scanning mode allows, during the same treatment, to transfer energy uniformly to different depths.
- Transdermal delivery: This method makes it possible to absorb the active ingredient of a drug or cream.
- Automatic Application Mode – Hands Free: This mode uses fixed self-adhesive electrodes to allow the operator to integrate energy transfer with manipulation and manual techniques on the patient. It is a working technique that increases the effectiveness of treatments in many situations.
- Athermic Treatments: Biostimulation of tissues without heat to treat those situations in which it is preferable to avoid the development of temperature; the effect produced is essentially due to the action of the current on cellular metabolism.
- Pulsed Treatments: Mode that allows for a high level of energy transferred while maintaining temperature control. The system in fact allows for the production of pulsed emission with different types of duty cycle.

STRENGTHS
- Clinical studies confirm that diathermy is particularly effective in the treatment of trauma and pathologies of the musculoskeletal system.
- Diathermy acts as an analgesic, often already from the first treatment, in both acute and chronic syndromes.
- Diathermy is very effective, so good results can be achieved with short treatment cycles.
- Diathermy allows you to concentrate the treatment specifically on the affected area even if it is located very deeply. Other therapeutic techniques use exogenous energy and their effectiveness is not as good as diathermy, because they cannot reach such a depth of action without excessively overheating the treated area.
- Diathermy does not overheat or dehydrate the skin and superficial tissues. The temperature is applied evenly and comfortably throughout the treatment area.
