Warranty

10-year warranty (for chairs delivered after 01/01/2004)
Håg offers a 10-year warranty on all standard fabric and leather upholstery (Håg Total Clour – HTC) against manufacturing or material defects, starting from the date of manufacture.
The warranty is valid for chairs subjected to normal use in a suitable environment for a maximum of 8 hours per day.
The warranty covers only the parts required for replacement. Labor and shipping costs are excluded.
Any type of rework required to replace the upholstery is excluded from the warranty.
Håg offers a lifetime warranty on gas springs.
24/7 use – 5 year warranty (for chairs delivered after 01/01/2007)
Håg upholstered chairs in HTC fabrics and leathers purchased for special uses, i.e. more than 8 hours a day, are covered by a 5-year warranty against manufacturing or material defects.
The warranty covers only the parts required for replacement. Labor and shipping costs are excluded.
Any type of rework required to replace the upholstery is excluded from the warranty.

General terms

Håg upholstered seating in fabrics and leathers not part of the HTC collection are subject to a warranty coverage only on the frames, not the fabrics. The warranty covers seating used up to a maximum of 8 hours per day.
The warranty covers only the parts required for replacement. Labor and shipping costs are excluded.
Any type of rework required to replace the upholstery is excluded from the warranty.

For any other type of fabric (COM customer fabric) the warranty is not valid.

The possibility of replacement under warranty applies only to seats subject to regular maintenance and cleaning.

Spare parts warranty

The warranty on spare parts is valid for 10 years from the date of manufacture.
The warranty will apply only to the parts necessary to ensure the normal functionality of the seat.

CERTIFICATIONS

The German certification institute LGA has approved and issued the GS (Geprute Sicherheit) certificate for some Håg products. All Håg office chairs are tested according to EN 1335 (European office chair standard) and ANSI Bifma (American standard).
Håg conference chairs are tested according to EN 13761 and ANSI Bifma standards.
HÅG H04, H05, H09 3 H03 are tested according to the British standard BS 54-59-2: a type of test usually applied to chairs for prolonged use (the British standard BS 5459-2 defines the test conditions and requirements for office chairs intended to support a person weighing up to 150 kg or continuous use of the chair for 24 hours a day).
HÅG was the first chair manufacturer to be certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 1425 (ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION or EPD) and to be registered with EMAS (EU's Eco-management and Audit scheme).
HÅG was also the first European company to be certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute in the United States. This certification guarantees that none of HÅG's products contain hazardous materials or emit pollutants.

MAINTENANCE GUIDE

The seat should be kept away from dust and dirt. The upholstered parts should be vacuumed with a special furniture brush, or cleaned with a white cloth or sponge and distilled water.
Under no circumstances should the plastic covers be removed or the seat mechanism opened. If technical maintenance or piston replacement is necessary, contact your dealer.
MISCELLANEOUS

CMHR (fire resistant) padding
CMHR padding is available upon request. This must be specifically requested when ordering and will delay delivery by approximately 2-5 weeks. Pricing is available upon request.
