If you add another pair of hooks, you can leave one pair inside and another outside the Rack without wasting time changing them during your training session. Practical example, switching from a flat bench training session to the standing military press (outside the Rack), you have to remove the 2 hooks and insert these on the other side, with an extra pair of hooks everything is easier, just leave another copy outside and the transition from one side to the other becomes easier. Also recommended for circuits!
